About Professor Lionel DESRUELLES
Lionel Desruelles began dancing here at the Marais Dance Center with Professor Mikael Wattincourt. He then received a scholarship to the Studio Harmonics to follow the courses of Laurence Fanon and Stéphane Locci in Modern-Jazz.
For several years, he attended Wayne Byars' classes daily in Classic dance , by Millard Hurley in Jazz, and Jacqueline Fynnaert in Floor Barre/Boris Kniaseff Method. His professional career began with the meeting with choreographer Redha in Offenbach’s “La Vie Parisienne”, directed by Roger Louret at Bercy/Accor Arena.

Following this experience, Lionel joined Ballets Redha. He also danced with choreographer Blanca Li and also performed the great classics of Musical Comedy notably “Singin' in the Rain” at the Porte Saint-Martin theater, a show awarded a Molière, “Some Like It Hot” at the Montpellier opera in a choreography by Barry Collins but also L'Air de Paris alongside the star dancer Patrick Dupont.
He then went to Los Angeles for a musical comedy produced by Pierre Cardin “Le Manège de Glace” by Manon Landowski performed on Hollywood Boulevard. He danced with artists such as Zazie, Muriel Robin and Johnny Hallydaythen choreography for cinema : Maïwenn, Philippe Le Guay, Alexandra Leclerc, Étienne Chatiliez and for theater : Romane Bohringer and Valérie Lemercier.
