Jeannine LORCA starts dance in Saint-Denis at the age of six in a municipal course with a disciple of Irène POPARD, Jacqueline BARREL. She gets her State certificate as a Sports Educator in Women's Gymnastics in 1972 and released graduated from the Irène POPARD School in 1973.
She continued her training by studying ballet (Raymond Franchetti) the Martha Graham technique (George Tugdual), the Limon technique (Anne Dreyfus) Modern Jazz (Russillo and Matt Mattox) and later contemporary dance (Lola Keraly).
His stage experience will be within Hadra Company, at the ORTF (Robert Reynaud's show) and during various experiences, notably with Nicole Guitton in 1977.
President of the Irène POPARD National Association since 2001, she directs the “Pedagovia” training center, which awards two certificates: “Certificate of pedagogy Irène POPARD for Dance and for physical and artistic disciplines”.
Dance teacher, her teaching is based on the Irène POPARD Method. She teaches Harmonic and Rhythmic dance to young children, Modern' jazz to teenagers and Harmonic and Rhythmic Gymnastics to adults and seniors.

LESSONS ARE AVAILABLE FOR CHILDREN FROM 3 YEARS OLD.
After teaching at Municipal Conservatory of Pierrefitte in Seine St. Denis between 1972 and 1977, at the Cultural Service of Veneux-Les-Sablons in Seine et Marne from 1972 to 1987 as well as at the Municipal Youth Service of Saint-Denis between 1977 and 1986, she opened her own school in Dreux in Eure et Loir from 1987 to 2016.
Since 2007 she continues her teaching only at the Center de Danse du Marais.
As a choreographer, she has directed three Dance Companies from 1992 to 2010 for which she created evolving shows

In 2010, surrounded by an educational team, Jeannine LORCA set up the Irène POPARD educational training to transmit the Irène POPARD Method to future generations of teachers.
